Per una divulgazione delle informazioni coordinata, tempestiva, accurata, puntuale e di estremo impatto bisogna tenere presente le diverse piattaforme digitali disponibili e la possibilità di mettere in comunicazione l'uno con l'altro i mezzi. Quando i principali mezzi interagiscono tra di essi si può parlare di comunicazione crossmediale.
